Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers @ Chicago Blackhawks

Mar 5, 2020, 15:00 ESTUpdated: Mar 5, 2020, 15:09 EST
Tonight, the Oilers will be gunning for the clean sweep of their three-game road trip through the Central Division. They’re in Chicago tonight to face a Blackhawks team that, like the Oilers, is currently riding a three-game winning streak. It’s been an up and down season for the Hawks, who sit well outside of the wild card race in the Western Conference but they still have the potential to be a dangerous team. They’ve gone up against the Oilers twice and split those two games.
The last time they met, the Oilers got four points from @Leon Draisaitl (he has nine points in his last five games against the Hawks) and walked away with a 5-3 victory. The Oilers have been playing some of their best hockey of the year and they’ve beaten two really good teams so far during this road trip but don’t let Chicago’s record fool you. They will still put up a good fight tonight.
Mike Smith gets the start once again for the Oilers tonight and they’ll once again have a new-look top line! I go through it all on the Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast (pres. by YEG Burger)! You can download it right here in the article or by heading to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google Play!
