Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers vs Boston Bruins

Feb 19, 2020, 16:30 ESTUpdated: Feb 19, 2020, 16:26 EST
The @Edmonton Oilers are back on home ice after a three-game road trip that most considered wildly successful considering the circumstances around it. Tonight, they get another tough test as the best team in the league, the @Boston Bruins, rolls into Ice District. Boston has been playing some tremendous hockey as of late with just one loss in their last ten games, and Edmonton is going to need quite the performance from their depth forwards, young defenseman, and their goaltender if they’re going to want to grab two points. It will need to be the definition of a true team effort tonight from the Oilers.
There are still some encouraging signs for the Oilers heading into this game. They’ve dominated Boston as of late, winning eight of their last ten games against the Bruins. Boston has had some bad games this year, including one against the Oilers back in January and a handful of losses to the @Detroit Red Wings. They’re beatable, the Oilers will just have to be at their best and as of late, they have been.
