The first homestand of the season is in the books, the Oilers are hitting the road, and that means we had plenty to talk about on the brand new Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re talkin’ about last night’s win over the Penguins, Tyler’s frustration with Oilers fans, and a whole lot more.
To kick off this week’s podcast, we got this week’s show we got started with a look at last night’s win over the Pittsburgh Penguins and specifically what was the most impressive part of that victory. Whether it was the boys rallying around McDavid (temporarily) going down or the fact that the Oilers got some goals from throughout the lineup, there was a lot to like about the way the team responded after yet another slow start. On the downside, the Oilers gave up another power play goal for the sixth straight game so we spent a little bit of time trying to figure out what’s going wrong when the team is down a man. From there, we looked ahead at the upcoming three-game road trip and what we should be expecting from the Oilers on a trip that includes rematches against both the Blues and Flames.
