Real Life Podcast Episode 40: Streaking, B2B Playoffs And Losing Toes

Aug 22, 2017, 15:47 EDTUpdated: May 18, 2018, 15:56 EDT
In this week’s episode of the Real Life Podcast, the boys welcome longtime Oilersnation fan, Travis Dakin, to discuss even more Nation history and talk about the time he got naked for Sam Gagner.
Continuing our trip down memory lane, Wanye and Baggedmilk talk to Travis about what it’s like to be a fan of the website that has grown from a small gathering place into a full blown community. We also touch on the infamous video of Travis streaking through the streets of Fort McMurray after Sam Gagner registered his eighth point against the Chicago Blackhawks.
From there, the boys discuss what it’s like to see the Oilers back in the playoffs for the first time in a decade and what they will do when the Oilers are finally able to reclaim the Stanley Cup. Will there be riots in the streets? Will they take over the Pint in a drunken coup? Hear this and more on this week’s episode of the Real Life Podcast.
