The boys are back with a fresh Monday edition of The Real Life Podcast as they sat down for a quick 30 minutes edition of the pod. On the heels of the Oilers first pre-season game, the group started the show off by talking about the first hockey game of the season and what stood out to them. For Jay, he got to bring his daughter to the game and shared a story of their quest to find Hunter The Lynx. They also talked about a few players that stood out to them in both good and bad ways.

The bigger story though was the concession prices. Beers are going up, but it’s not as bad at the crew thought it would be. They shared some fun strategies about how to maximize your enjoyment of a game in downtown Edmonton. They wrapped it up by talking about the Elks loss this weekend, which Tyler took in down at Commonwealth Stadium. The guys Grey Cup bit took a big hit, but they’re not giving up. They also talked some NFL and at the very end, addressed the viral McDavid video from The Stanley Cup Final.
