The Oilers have their backs against the wall heading into Game 6, and if we have any hope of extending this series then the boys will need to bring their A-game and nothing less. On the brink of elimination, Edmonton needs to up their desperation levels in a big way and they’ll also need to find a way to stay out of the box, something that didn’t happen on Friday night at all. Most importantly, the boys need to play a simple game and not get lost in the noise that Vegas is sure to throw their way. We know that the Golden Knights are going to try and get the Oilers off their game, but the boys need to be laser-focused on what needs to be done. From my end, I’ll be doing what I can to manifest a victory even if that means going a little more aggressive than I normally would. We all have to do our parts, after all.

I’m still salty about the way things played out in Game 5, and I’m hopeful that the Oilers are feeling the same way. I’m hopeful that the boys are going to look at that game, get angry, and take out their rage on their opponents. Dare to dream?
