Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show – Game 7 – Oilers vs Kings

May 14, 2022, 15:30 EDTUpdated: May 14, 2022, 15:39 EDT
The pressure is on! The Oilers season is on the line tonight as they wrap up their series against the LA Kings. Edmonton won a nailbiter on Thursday night in Los Angeles to get the series to this point and now, they’ll look to roll that momentum into a game seven victory. Game six was really the first time this series where the Oilers won a game despite not having their best effort. There were some long stretches where the Kings dominated possession, that can’t happen again tonight. The Oilers will need to bring ‘A’ game tonight if they want to advance to round two. Myself and Jay were also joined by a VERY special guest today on The Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show!
A big reason why the season is still going for Edmonton is that McDavid has been on fire and Draisaitl is finding ways to stay productive despite seemingly playing on one leg. They’ll need those two to keep playing at their current level tonight but they’ll also likely need a hero to come out of the bottom of the lineup. THAT’S THE MAGIC OF GAME SEVENS! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
As always, you can watch the show over on our YouTube Channel!
