Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show – Game 1 – Oilers vs Flames

May 18, 2022, 15:00 EDTUpdated: May 18, 2022, 15:20 EDT
For the first time in 31 years, the Oilers and Flames will meet in the Stanley Cup Playoffs which means this is the first time EVER that there’s been an internet talk show previewing an Edmonton vs Calgary playoff matchup! I was joined by Jay and Cowboy Chris today on The Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show to break down game one of this highly anticipated series. We started the show by looking back at the wild game seven that we saw at Rogers Place over the weekend and how the vibes in the city right now are just immaculate. From there, we talked about what the Oilers need to do tonight to get off to a strong start in this series. The Flames also had to go seven games in their opening round series so they are clearly beatable. The Oilers matched up pretty well against the Flames this season, grabbing two wins in their four meetings, but they’ll need to bring their play to another level if they want to win four of the next seven against their provincial rivals. We gave you everything you need to know in today’s Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show!
As always, the show goes live at 1pm across all of our social channels! You can also go back and watch it anytime on our YouTube Channel!
