Another Thursday has landed on your calendar and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new episode to help you get through the rest of your week. On today’s podcast, the guys looked at last night’s Oilers win, Tyler’s growing fame, sports betting, and a whole lot more.
Kicking off this week’s podcast, the guys got started with a conversation about last night’s Oilers game and how Tyler got recognized by a kid at Rogers Place, which was enough to light up his life. Somehow, that conversation spawned Wanye story about his grandpa pulling out his own teeth ahead of WW2. Back to the game, the guys talked about how that was a statement game for the Oilers as the team had to show plenty of resilience in order to secure two points. Splintering off from the game recap, the guys wondered whether there would be an appetite from the Oilers to bring back @Mikko Koskinen as their backup next season provided that he would take a haircut on his contract and also that they could find a legitimate starter. Changing gears, the guys spent a few minutes talking about sports betting and whether players should be allowed to bet on games they’re not involved in or not. Lastly, we wrapped up the Thursday episode of Real Life with a chat about the Nation Vacation to Calgary that will be taking place on March 26th and how you should absolutely be on this trip with us.
