The Sherwood Ford Giant Pre Game Show – Game 51 @ Tampa Bay

Feb 23, 2022, 15:30 ESTUpdated: Feb 23, 2022, 15:38 EST
Tonight, the Oilers begin arguably their toughest road trip of the season with a stop in Tampa Bay to take on the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champion Lightning. Over the next five days, the Oilers will play visit the three best teams in the Eastern Conference with stops in Carolina and Florida on the weekend. It will be a tough test for a team that got off to a tremendous start under new Head Coach Jay Woodcroft but got absolutely smoked on Sunday night against the Minnesota Wild. They’ll need to be better than they were against the Wild and that starts with their goaltending. Mike Smith will get a chance to redeem himself after allowing three goals on seven shots last time out. Caroline and I talked about that decision and more in today’s Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show!
How many points should be realistically expected from this road trip? We gave our answers to that question. We also talked about some potential lineup changes, I gave my betting report, and we took questions from the live chat! As always, you can watch the full show right below here and don’t forget to go HAMMER that subscribe button!
