The Oilers seem to be finding their groove right now. The team has won back-to-back home games and the most recent victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning was one of their more impressive wins this season. Now, they’ll look to keep things rolling as they get set to host the Detroit Red Wings at Rogers Place. The Oilers have played well in the first two games of this homestand and have beaten a pair of playoff teams. The Red Wings are far from a playoff team. They’ve been out of the race since before Christmas and while they’ve had some stretches where they’ve looked good this year, they’re struggling right now. The team has lost five in a row and has surrendered 26 goals in those games. The Oilers should absolutely win this game.
