Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Keep the hammer down in Game 4
By baggedmilk1 year ago
It’s game day and the boys at The Locker Room wanted to bring me in for yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I will now do for every game day, I jumped on the air with the boys for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off today’s segment, we jumped in with a look back at the last couple of games and how the Oilers have looked so much better than they did in the opener. Led by Connor McDavid, the boys seem to have hit another gear that the Flames have struggled to match, but even with the team buzzing around them, several Calgary players seem to suggest there is only one guy beating them. From my perspective, I hope the Oilers use that as bulletin board material and further motivation to keep themselves firing on all cylinders tonight in Game 4. Needless to say, this is a massive opportunity for the Oilers provided they can keep their foot on the gas and not let the Flames give themselves any signs of life. If they can, we could be going back to Calgary with our foot on their throats. If not, we’ll have a tied series once again because you absolutely know that the Flames are going to come out firing.
