Kicking off this week’s podcast, the guys got started with a conversation about Tyler nearing vomiting before the podcast started after confessing that he packed away a bunch of penne alfredo before the show. After busting his balls for a little bit, the podcast turned to TV as both Wanye and Jay offered their takes on Inventing Anna as they’re diving into one of the latest Netflix trends. The guys also looked at the Kanye West docu-series, Jeen-Yuhs, and how it’s incredible to see the process that led up to him becoming one of the biggest rappers of all time. Getting to the Oilers, the guys looked at last night’s loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning and how it was incredibly frustrating to watch the team play so well but not get the saves they needed to close things out. From there, the guys discussed Ryan Smyth day that is coming up on Sunday, Feb. 27th, which marks the 15th anniversary of the trade that sent him to the New York Islanders.
