Islanders winger Simon Holmstrom took a tripping penalty a few minutes into the period and Edmonton capitalized on the power play. Draisaitl took a one-timer that missed the net, Connor McDavid tired to bounce the rebound off of Sorokin, and Zach Hyman was there to bury the loose puck.</p>

Draisaitl stole the puck along the boards in Edmonton&#8217;s zone and sent Kane on a partial break that he finished off with his speed.</p>
