Inside the Nation: Line combinations, Bruins preview, and the Walterdale Bridge

Oct 18, 2018, 16:50 EDTUpdated: Oct 18, 2018, 17:12 EDT
Hi, everybody! We’re back with another brand new episode of Inside the Nation with Dustin Nielson! It’s the show where Dusty jumps onto our Facebook page, goes live, and explains everything you could ever want to know about the Edmonton Oilers.
With the Oilers finally getting their season opener tonight against the Boston Bruins, Dusty started things off by trying to make sense of why the Oilers would choose to skate onto the ice under a replica of the Walterdale Bridge? From there, he touched on why CTV would actually report that the Oilers flew into Fargo, North Dakota, and drive into Winnipeg for Tuesday’s game. How did a stupid joke we started get so far? From there, Nielson got into his wheelhouse and discussed the new line combinations, including what to do with Kailer Yamamoto. What about Leon Draisaitl? Does he have the right wingers on his line that will allow him to be at his best?
Lastly, Nielson weighs in on the McDavid vs. the World debate and tries to figure out why the media keeps asking coaches and players about who’s better than who. Are these questions fair to the players or coaches? Needless to say, it’s another jam-packed episode of Inside the Nation and Dustin Nielson is fired up.
