It’s Friday afternoon, and that means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio to wrap up your week and celebrate all things Edmonton Oilers.
Kicking off the Friday episode of ONR, we got started with five minutes about Shohei Ohtani as it appears that the superstar will be making a decision on his new home as early as today. To make matters more exciting, the Toronto Blue Jays are emerging as a frontrunner to sign him. Turning the podcast toward the Oilers, we wondered what has been the most fun part of this five-game win streak. Whether it was key contributions from throughout the lineup, Stuart Skinner’s brilliance, or the special teams heating up, there is plenty to like about the way the team has played over these last five games. After spending literally seconds talking about the Oilers, the conversation turned back to Ohtani watch after videos of the Japanese start arriving at the Toronto airport completely derailed the game preview for tonight’s matchup against the Minnesota Wild. Lastly, we closed out the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another round of Kennedy’s Quotes Game and Hot and Cold performers to wrap up the week.
