Another Thursday has landed on the calendar which means a fresh episode of the Real Life Podcast is here to help you close out the week and get you set for the weekend. This week, the guys looked at life in lockdown, the proposed boxing match between Georges Laraque and Mike Tyson, and welcomed Scott Hasting from OddsShark to discuss the world of betting.
To kick off the Thursday episode of Real Life, the guys jumped in with a discussion about how life going during a pandemic and how it affects things like recording the podcast, personal spending, and basically every other facet of life. Somehow that conversation inspired the boys to talk about some of their old traffic stories, which included an array of tales about being summoned by the police and avoiding tickets in the process. From there, Chalmers steered the podcast back towards sports and told a story about sitting on a minor hockey conference call that was hijacked and replaced by… umm… an unsavoury video to say the least. Sticking with hockey, the guys discussed the possibility of former Edmonton Oilers heavyweight, Georges Laraque, wanting to do a charity boxing match against Mike Tyson and whether or not it’s a good idea or not. Lastly, the guys wrapped up today’s podcast by welcoming Scott Hastings from OddsShark to help break down the latest betting trends from the NFL, and the latest news in the world of sports.
