A new week has landed and the Oilers clinched their playoff spot on Saturday, which meant there was a whole lot to talk about on the Monday episode of the Real Life podcast.

To kick off the Monday episode of Real Life, the guys got started with another look back at #ChumGate after the guys started podcast with an old intro from years ago. Next up, the guys looked at what’s happening with A.I. right now after Wanye found a fake Jay-Z track that sounds almost exactly like the hip hop icon. Sticking with fake news, the guys then talked about Cam Lewis’ April Fool’s Day joke that said Connor McDavid was suspended for six games after his hit on Mikey Anderson. With that out of the way, the guys talked about the Oilers’ clinching their playoff spot on Saturday against the Ducks and how it was a dominant performance by the Oilers against a team they should beat every time. Changing gears, the guys spent some time talking about baseball after the MLB season is finally underway after instituting a handful of rule changes. Somehow, talking about baseball led to an extended conversation about which movie is the best of them all. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the Monday episode of Real Life with a look at some of the new playoff gear that just went up on the Nation Gear store.
