<p>The Edmonton Oilers are heading into the Christmas break on a positive note after completing back-to-back wins in New York, the latter against one of the league&#8217;s top teams. Much like the win over the Devils on Thursday, the Oilers had a third-period rally to take down the Rangers the following night.</p>
<p>The Rangers carried a 1-0 lead into the third period and then Zach Hyman, Evander Kane, Warren Foegele, and Ryan McLeod scored four goals over the course of six-and-a-half minutes to take a 4-1 lead. New York added a couple more goals later in the frame, including one in the final second, and the Oilers won 4-3.</p>
<p><a href="https://twitter.com/SNstats/status/1738400393686618310">According to Sportsnet Stats</a>, this was just the third time in team history that the Oilers won games on back-to-back nights after training in the third period. The win put them at 15-15-1 on the season, five points behind the Arizona Coyotes for the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.</p>
