The Real Life Podcast Ep. 364 — Jay loses his email, the Daily Faceoff deadline show, and baby watch

Another Thursday has landed on your calendar and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new podcast to help you get through the rest of your week. On today’s show, the guys looked at Jay’s fallen email account, the DFO deadline show, the Oilers, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off this week’s podcast, the guys got started with a story from Jay about his email and how he had a wild week after his Hotmail account was accidentally killed this past week. Since the beginning of his email career, Jay has been incredibly loyal to his Hotmail account but because of this wild error, he is now lost in an email-less universe that is new and scary to him. Changing gears, the guys talked about Jeff Bezos trying to negotiate a TV deal with the NFL and how the National Football League seems to be worried about such a partnership. From there, the guys looked back on Trade Deadline day and how the Daily Faceoff Deadline show was a lot of fun to watch the inaugural broadcast. Seeing as it was the first time we had ever done anything like this, the guys gave Tyler a few minutes to flex on his accomplishments while also being very embarrassed at the same time. Turning towards the Oilers, the guys wrapped up the Thursday episode of the podcast with a little bit of Oilers talk after a couple of costly losses in Colorado and Minnesota. From the trade deadline to contract talk to clearing cap space in the offseason, the boys got heated as they were trying to figure out the path forward for the team.
