A new week is here and that means the gang from the Real Life Podcast is back with a brand new episode to help you get through the rest of your Monday. On today’s podcast, the guys looked at Saturday’s huge win for the Oilers, daylight savings time, the NHL trade deadline, and a whole lot more.
To kick things off, the guys got the podcast started with a look at daylight savings time and how it’s affecting everyone differently. For Baggedmilk and Jay, moving the clocks ahead an hour was disruptive for the rest of their weekend. Changing gears, the guys got back to sports as Tyler walked the guys through some of his big betting wins from this past weekend. Tyler’s win led the guys to talk about Tom Brady coming back for another NFL season only 40 days after leading many to believe that he was calling it quits. Looking at the Oilers, the guys broke down a very impressive win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night and how that was a statement game from a team that is desperate for points. Seeing as the Oilers have racked up a couple of big wins in a row, the guys looked ahead at next Monday’s trade deadline and whether or these recent wins may change the Oilers’ plans on moving day. Looking ahead at the trade deadline, the guys spent a few minutes discussing the Daily Faceoff programming that will be happening on March 21st and how you can engage in the show.
