Good morning, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another edition of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every Wednesday, I jumped on the Cruz FM airwaves with the boys on The Locker Room to talk about Oilers, what’s been going on around the NHL, and try to make sense of this crazy life we’re living.
To kick things off, we got started with a look at Monday night’s loss against the Jets and how that game was incredibly exciting and fun to watch while also being incredibly disappointing as an Oilers fan. With two points left on the board in the opener, we spoke a little bit about what the team needs to do to ensure that they don’t repeat the same mistakes and split the series. Sticking with the Oilers, I explained to Grant why Evan Bouchard’s nickname is ‘Dad’ around these parts and what this player means to the franchise moving forward. Finally, we wrapped up this week’s appearance with a discussion about the Vegas Golden Knights rocking golden helmets and whether or not I think it’s a good idea. While I may not personally like the look of those lids, I will admit that I give Vegas plenty of credit for their willingness to get weird.
