Thursday is here and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new podcast to help you get through the rest of your week. On today’s show, the guys looked at Chalmers’ family vacay, Jay’s sleeping arrangements in Calgary, and a whole lot more.
Kicking off this week’s podcast, the guys got started with a chat about Chalmers’ most recent vacation, and how he avoided the grind with his family for the first time in quite some time. As you’ll hear, no detail was spared from this vacay as Chalmers gave a very thorough explanation of what he and his family were up to. Next up, Jay and Chalmers walked through their Peloton competitions that kicked off at the beginning of the pandemic and how both guys have fallen off a little bit since then. Getting back to hockey, the guys looked at the Oilers’ last few games and how the team needed to find a way to bounce back after getting shelled in Calgary and looking so sloppy while they were at it. Thankfully, the guys were able to respond with a pair of wins against the Coyotes and Kings even though the latter was anything but pretty. Looking back on the Nation Vacation to Calgary, Jay then told Chalmers the story about sharing a bed with Bearded Brad and the story ended up being so much funnier than we initially thought when we heard the first version on Monday. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the Thursday episode of Real Life with a chat about the World Cup and how Canada will find out which group they’ll be playing in tomorrow. Will they get a passable group? Group of death?
